Nursed & Nurtured is designed to be a comfortable and welcoming environment for all families, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or ability. This company is LGBTQ-owned and affirms everyone's right to be a parent and create a loving family. 

My wife, Marissa, and I share six children between us (two adopted with special needs and four biological) and 6 grandchildren (two with autism). We have each experienced heteronormative lives in the past (with its privileges) and we've also experienced biases and discrimination as a mixed-race, LGBTQ- couple. We've raised neurotypical children, as well as those with brain differences, learning challenges, behavior struggles, and mental health issues. 

As a family, we identify as Christians and enjoy being a part of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Salt Lake City. Still, I connect with many spiritualities and respect each person's choice of spiritual practices or the absence of such practices. Kindness and love for humankind connect us all.

I feel blessed to have had such diverse experiences so that I feel well-equipped to serve a wide variety of family structures. Whether traditional or progressive, adoptive or biological, neurotypical or neurodivergent, straight or gay, cisgender or transgender, black or white, Christian or Buddhist, etc.… all families are valued and deserve the same level of care. I consider it a privledge to serve ALL individuals & families, striving to exceed your expectations through compassionate, nurturing, and extraordinary care. Welcome to the family.
